Legal translation between Arabic and English
I’m Mohamed Khaled, registered personally with the UAE Ministry of Justice under No. 688, valid until 8 March 2029. I translate Arabic legal documents into English and English legal documents into Arabic myself. After discussing the intended use, I review the full document and agree a fixed quote and delivery date. I sign and stamp the completed translation.

Who will translate my legal documents?
I carry out Arabic-English legal translation personally, and my signature and stamp appear on the finished work. The stamp bears my name and No. 688. You can read about my MOJ registration, which applies to me as an individual.
I work through AL QEMMA LEGAL TRANSLATION, a Sole Establishment with Dubai professional licence 876257. This is the business’s licence.
For other language pairs, an MOJ-registered translator in my network translates the text. I give you their full name and registration number before work begins and with delivery.
What kinds of legal documents do I translate?
I work on personal legal documents as well as documents used by companies and people involved in disputes. These are common examples of what clients ask me to translate and why they need the text in another language.
| Legal documents | What clients need them for |
|---|---|
| Company documents, including MOAs, resolutions and licences | Company registration or licence matters |
| Court and dispute documents | A court case or an ongoing dispute |
| Powers of attorney and wills | Giving someone authority to act or dealing with a will |
| Property documents | A property transaction |
| Contracts | Signing an agreement or dealing with a contractual dispute |
Why do I ask where the translation will be used?
The recipient and the service involved can affect the required format and which parts of a document need translating. A court, land department, bank or free-zone authority may have its own instructions. Tell me what the recipient has asked for so I can take those instructions into account.
Each receiving organisation makes its own decision about whether it will accept a translation. See the questions I ask about the destination.
What do I need to know first?
Describe the job before sharing any files. A short initial message is enough, and I’ll explain how to share the complete document once we have discussed what you need.
- The document type and approximate number of pages or files
- Whether it is Arabic into English or English into Arabic, or another language pair
- Where the translation will be used and any instructions from the recipient
- When you need the work completed
- Any format requirements beyond the translation
How do I set the price and delivery date?
I review the complete document before setting the price, including material that could affect the work involved. You receive a fixed quote and a proposed delivery date before I start, and I proceed after you agree. I need at least two business days for every job.
The actual date depends on the document and what we have agreed to translate.
Do I give legal advice?
My work is to translate the source text you provide. I don’t give legal advice or draft and amend the underlying documents. If you need the legal wording changed, that falls outside my translation work.
I check the translated text against the source before signing and stamping it. My admin team helps with page layout under my supervision.
Do you need to visit my office?
You can begin by describing the job over WhatsApp, so an office visit is usually unnecessary. If you would like to meet me, visits to The Exchange Tower in Business Bay are by appointment.
I normally deliver my signed and stamped Arabic-English translation as a PDF through WhatsApp or email. If you need a stamped original, ask me about collection or courier delivery.

Tell me what you need translated.
Start with a description of the document and whether you need Arabic or English. It helps to know the approximate length, who will receive it and your deadline. Please don't send sensitive personal or case files in your first message.
Monday to Friday, 9am to 9pm UAE time. At least two business days; I agree the actual delivery date before I start.
